These years, with the government's increasingly support to the development of tourismindustry and see a tourist boom in China, the hospitality industry has been promoted and surged then. Also, the fierce competition among the hospitality industry is seemed to be acknowledged by hoteliers. Ningbo Nanyuan Hotel is the earliest Five-Star Hotel in Zhejiang Province and there are many international branded hotel come to Ningbo for further development, say Hyatt, Westin, Inter Continental, Hilton, etc. Statistic shows that there are 22five-star hotels in Ningbo. People just could just be aware of the intense competition among them. But, how to stand out and to be the most popular hotel during customers is a key problem to be solved and taken into consideration by each Ningbo hoteliers.Human resources is the main driving force to generate higher revenue, take up more market shares, to deliver excellent service to customers, given the natural attribute of labor-intensive industry, which rely on people more than other resources. With this point in mind, the vigorously promote the competencies and techniques would be the one of the main tasks in hotel. The best way to sharpen the abilities of staff is to conduct effective trainings.In this paper, it details and analyzes the present status of the new staff training in Ningbo WST hotel and the problems in the current new staff training have been located via the questionnaire on the staff satisfaction of new staff training. The main problems are the lacking of analysis of training needs, training contents and methods are not up-to-date and do not cater for the younger generation's preference and no systematic training evaluations, etc. All the above-mentioned reasons lead to a high turn-over rate of new staff, which results in the vicious circle in hotel recruitment sessions. Therefore, referring to a series of training theory and hotel management knowledge, the current new staff training has been optimized by rebuilding its whole structure, adding more training contents to target the younger generation and satisfy their needs, improving the old and out-of-date training methods into a way that moving closer to the Internet and kept pace with the times. What's more, the training evaluation is to be fit into this systematic new staff training, which could get all the things about new staff training under control...
