The scarcity of land resources has become one of the important problems in our country, and the rational utilization of limited land resources is particularly significant. The using of land-use data is an integral part of the basic information for land resources usage and management. As a kind of spatial data, the level of detail of the needed data is distinct because of different purposes and requirements, which involves multi-scale land-use representation.Regard the model of multi-scale land use representation as the research object, and based on the multi-scale representation of spatial data and map data integration research, and according to semantic correlation and the characteristics of land-use data,we build a model of multi-scale land-use.The main obtained research results are as follows.(1)According to the characteristics of land-use data,we design conceptual model of multi-scale representation, logical model and physical model, and construct land-use database of multi-scale representation.(2)In view of the technology of automatic generalization of spatial data, and in use of idea of object-oriented,and considering categorical attributes of land-use data and spatial features of scaling,we design the main conversion rules of multi-scale land-use data.(3)Based on the spatial data quality evaluation and characteristics of the scaling,we design the quality evaluation index model of multi-scale representation of land-use data.(4)On the basis of the.Net framework, and using C#,ArcEngine10 and Arc GIS software,we program to achieve the scale conversion of land-use data and establish representation system of multi-scale land-use data.
