Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has been considerable development for decades,the annual growth rate has been more than 7%,and GDP has ranked second in the world,just lower than the United States,which is the first in the world,known as the "China speed".Government investment projects as one of stimulating the domestic economy "3 drive carriage”,plays an important role in GDP growth process.And with the advancement of the process of urbanization in China as well as the continuous construction of high-speed rail and other major infrastructure projects,government investment projects will play a more and more important role in the composition of China's GDP growth,and will become the stable and continuous output.At the same time,there exists a lot of risks in the implementation of the government investment projects,due to various reasons,including the project risk and corruption,as the risk of causing significant losses to the country and the people.Therefore,in order to improve the risk management system of China's government investment projects,it's necessary to establish the evaluation index system of government investment projects.Firstly,we have introduced the summary of domestic and foreign research on government investment projects.Then,according to the literature,combined with actual situation of government investment project,the risk evaluation index system is established,including decision-making risk,management risk,political risk,economic risk,natural environment risk and technical risk,as well as,the article uses AHP-TOPSIS method to evaluate the risk of engineering project,and carries on the example analysis.Finally,it puts forward some suggestions on improving the risk management system of China's government investment projects,and looks forward to the future research.
