A Study On The Enhancement Of The Innovation Capacity Of High-tech Manufacturing Industry In The Yangtze River Economic Zone

With the vigorous development of the new round of industrial technology revolution,the global industrial structure is undergoing deep adjustment.Developing high-tech manufacturing is an important way for China to develop a real economy,improve the quality of economic development,and enhance the international competitiveness of manufacturing.The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important region supporting the development of China's high-tech manufacturing industry.This region,whose revenue of high-tech manufacturing accounts for nearly half of the overall revenue of high-tech manufacturing industry in China,is the core region of the development of high-tech manufacturing in China.The key to the development of high-tech manufacturing is the enhancement of the innovation capability of high-tech manufacturing.This paper takes the innovation ability of high-tech manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the research object,examining the development status of high-tech manufacturing innovation activities,evaluating the innovation ability of the high-tech manufacturing industry,analysing the spatial characteristics of innovation capability,and making the diagnosis of obstacles that restrict the improvement of innovation capability of high-tech manufacturing in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The results show that:(1)The innovation ability among the provinces(cities)affiliated to the Yangtze River Economic Belt is quite different,and the overall situation is high in the east and low in the west.(2)The difference in innovation capability of high-tech manufacturing between provinces(cities)in the Yangtze River Economic Belt showed a slight decrease in 2009-2014,but it has expanded after 2014.Divided into groups using the standard applied to define the reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt,according to the results of the decomposition of the Tyre index,the impact of the gap within the group on the overall gap is greater than the impact of the gap between the groups,and a trend of increasing year by year appears.(3)The level of innovation capability of high-tech manufacturing in the Yangtze River Economic Belt presents positive spatial autocorrelation.From the perspective of local correlation analysis,the concentration type of the provinces(city)in the Yangtze River Delta region is H-H type.Except for Anhui Province,the agglomeration type of rest provinces(city)is L-L type.(4)In recent years,the impact of innovation synergy and innovation support on improving the overall innovation capability of high-tech manufacturing in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has increased.Insufficient innovation investment is the main obstacle for upstream and midstream provinces(cities)to enhance the innovation capability of high-tech manufacturing.Based on this,this paper proposes relevant countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of optimizing the spatial arrangement of innovation elements,prospering the technology trading market,optimizing the innovation environment,and enhancing the export competitiveness of high-tech manufacturing products.
