Saving environment is a big issue for the existence of mankind.Global warming is the result of high level of industrialization and other non environment friendly activities.To protect environment several countries are making and updating environment protection laws.Business firms are also trying to follow the rules and regulations of the government by implementing green management.So,saving environment is priority for the sake of our survival.Recently,there has been observed a growing consciousness inside business world on the implication of going green and adopting several environment management strategies.Now a days it is clear that,Green HRM has become a key strategy for the significant organization where human resource management department play an important role in going green at the workplace.Basically,Green HRM is the integration of green management into human resource management.Green HRM practice includes all functions of human resource management like recruitment,selection,training and development,performance management,compensation and benefit,discipline management,job design,job analysis etc.Green HRM practice within the company will develop green human capital which is a key element for a company to promote an action in the organization.This research has focus on the impact of Green HRM practices on employee job satisfaction and the efficiency of resource use in the workplace.Survey questionnaire has been used to collect data from several companies.Based on the collected data this study assessed the level of Green HRM practice impact on employees.The hypothesis revealed that Green HRM practice is positively related to employee job satisfaction and resource efficiency.Green practice within the company can make employees more satisfied.Green HRM practice will also affect the use of office resources,it leads to resource efficiency.Research hypothesis also claims that,employee job satisfaction is closely related to resource efficiency.Satisfied employees are more likely to be efficient in the workplace.Resource efficiency can be attained by making employees more satisfied.This study would be helpful for public and private organizations for making new green company policy and also to update the old one.Thus,organizations should consider green HRM practice to increase employee job satisfaction and to attain resource efficiency.
