Research On Tourism Poverty Alleviation Based On The Community Empowerment Theory

In the practice of Tourism poverty alleviation,The development of tourism is relying on the local community,so the poor residents to be out of poverty is the core objective of tourism poverty alleviation.In order to realize the core goal of tourism poverty alleviation,not only limited to the macroscopic development of tourism.It is urgent to conduct different levels of empowerment,to ensure the poor residents subject status in tourism poverty alleviation,to let the rights and interests of all aspects of the poor get attention,to let the poor residents participate in tourism development roundly and deeply,and to let the poor benefit from the tourism poverty alleviation.Based on such a thinking,research and solve problems in tourism poverty alleviation deeply from the perspective of community empowerment.In this paper,a case study is conducted in the village of Tai Ziping,Jin Sixia Town,southern Shanxi Province,based on the theory of community tourism empowerment,to carry out research about the status quo of tourism poverty alleviation and Residents’ power and right by door-to-door interviewing and questionnaire investigation.This study analyze mainly from the following aspects.First,card development course of the community participate to the community empowerment theory,Summarize the research status of tourism empowerment and tourism poverty alleviation in the domestic and foreign,explore the essence of community empowerment theory,to point out the importance of tourism empowerment theory to the practice of tourism poverty alleviation,so as to provide theoretical guidance for the design of the questionnaire and the analysis and solution of the problem.Secondly,this study makes an empirical research on the residents’ power and rights in the poverty relief and tourism poverty alleviation in the poor village of Tai Ziping.Through the analysis of tourism poverty alleviation,found that tourism poverty benefits of Tai Ziping Village are not implemented to residents.To solve this problem,introduct community empowerment theory to aim at the poor rural residents directly.Through studying the real rights and power of the residents of Tai Ziping Village to give them ownership rights and power.Last,based on the actual development situation of tourism poverty alleviation,combined with the present situation of residents’ tourism power,put forward the corresponding development countermeasure of tourism poverty alleviation from four aspects of individual,organization,community and institution.The purpose of this paper is to provide some feasible countermeasures for the residents of poor village to get rid of poverty,by studying community empowerment in tourism poverty alleviation.The community tourism empowerment can better target to the poor,to achieve the political,economic,psychological and social empowerment of poor residents in the process of tourism development,and ultimately,let cast off poverty and set out on a road to prosperity come true.
