With the ongoing development in the past 2 decades or so,China's retail industry of garment manufacturing has seen revolutionary changes.As China undergoes rapid economic development and becomes increasingly open to foreign countries economically,many internationally renowned retail corporations have flooded into domestic markets where they seek to grab a profitable share.As one of the most famous international garment retailers,CA corporation came to China in 2006,CA corporation soon made a name for itself and its brand rose among the top based on its international reputation,professional design and reliable production quality.However,affected by the overall international economic environment and in particular the advent of the information age in recent years,the competitive advantages that almost all famous brands in garment production enjoyed have been significantly diminished while more and more consumers prefer to choose online shopping.As a result,these leading retailers have encountered unforeseeable impediments,under which circumstance,business management,especially human resource management came into play since companies have to rely on particular talents to turn the tide and regain competitive advantages.The new challenges thereby emerged for companies to face turned out to be an increasingly intense talent acquisition fights which employers had to win by seeking all possible resorts to attract,utilize and keep those talents.Taking CA as an example,this paper carried out a deep analysis on the present situation of retail industry in garment production and human resource management of CA company itself.By combining particular case study methods and theoretical analysis of practical situations,this paper tries to find out the reason why CA company was suffering from loss of talents and comes up with feasible advice and solutions to help CA deal with its management dilemma and thus regain competitive advantages.This paper is divided into four parts: The first part introduces the research background,research ideas and methods.The second part introduces the basic situation of the company,the industry background and the company's three cases of brain drain,respectively,the executive COO passive departure,the backbone of the logistics manager turnover,the loss of key talent manager.The third part elaborates the relevant theory,and uses the theory to analyze the reason of the brain drain of CA company,namely,the lack of humanization performance appraisal,lack of incentive,neglect the employee's career development,and the lack of enterprise culture construction.The fourth part is the suggestion and countermeasure.The author advocates the problem of the brain drain of CA company from four aspects: improving the performance management system,establishing the scientific salary management system,implementing the employee career planning and shaping the harmonious corporate culture atmosphere.Brain loss has a great impact on the enterprise,only to truly people-oriented,respect for employees,understanding of employees,care for employees,in order to improve employee satisfaction and organizational commitment in order to allow employees to continue to play potential and achieve long-term development.
