Study On Comprehensive Utilization Of Straw In Shuangyang District Based On Farmers' Perspective

Agriculture has a long history in our country and Jilin province is one of the most important commodity grain bases.What is more,it is an important major corn-producing area,which has crop stable yields,abundant straw resources.The straw is a by-product of agricultural production,but it has the characteristics of wide distribution,high yield,stable supply and it is a kind of renewable resources high quality that should be used reasonably.However,once the harvest season arrives,the straw is usually burned in many cases and its form of utilization is single.It is known to us all that burning straw may do harm to soil,causing a series of problems,such as trigging fire,polluting air,raising traffic accident.Therefore,when every crop harvest comes,government will arrange specially-assigned people to carry out ban burning work.In order to prevent straw burning phenomenon,government put into large of personnel and funds and established package insurance accountability,broadcasted widely,arranging Inspector patrol.Even so,there still few burning phenomenon occurred,which should draw our attention.In recent years,Shuangyang,the District of Changchun City,has a stable grain output and the straw is rich in resources.In order to implement the straw burning ban,and explore recycling economy development model,Shuangyang district has taken various measures to enrich the usage of straw,improving comprehensive utilization rate of straw.However,after conducting policy of banning the straw burning,its promoting effect is lower than we expected.Straw returning,agricultural straw,straw power generation,and other kinds of utilizing methods are not so high.Most of the straw could not be taken advantage of very adequately.What is worse,they were even abandoned.It shows that,the comprehensive utilization issue about straw in the district of Shuangyang still needs further study.In In this paper,the methods of cost benefit analysis and factor analysis are exploited on studying the comprehensive utilization of straw in Shuangyang district.Through analyzing the current status use of straw resources of Shuangyang district,this research combs out Shuangyang district straw utilization way.At the same time using cost returns theory analyzes net margin on different ways of using straw of Shuangyang district farmers.Further research has been conducted on the influencing factors on what kinds of selective ways affect farmers' choices on straw utilization way.Thus,we summarized the problems and reasons faced by farmers on straw utilization issue.And we came up with suggestions for reference in order to improve the efficiency of crop straw comprehensive utilization in Shuangyang district.Through research and analysis,Shuangyang district net income of farmers' different ways of comprehensive utilization of straw from high to low is : straw sold own transport,straw returning,straw gas,straw fodder,straw sales to home buyers.Straw comprehensive utilization ways of costs and benefits,policy,technology and farmers personal identity are an important factor affecting Shuangyang district farmers straw comprehensive utilization mode selection.The remaining difficulties lie in low comprehensive utilization rate of straw,unable net income to meet the farmers expect and obscure regional characteristics.The paper would like to address the straw comprehensive utilization issues in Shuangyang district through policy support,publicity guide,industrial construction,promoting demonstration and extension.
