Research On The Cultivating System Of New Professional Farmers In Suzhou

Agricultural modernization has become the core content of China’s agricultural development,and the new professional farmers is the necessary human resources in the construction of China’s agricultural modernization.However,with the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in China,a large number of rural people squeezed into the city,leading to profound changes in the structure of rural labor force.The reducing rural labor force is also faced with aging and quality problems.In this context,the government made it clear that we should vigorously cultivate new professional farmers.Cultivating new professional farmers is an important strategic choice for China to realize the common development of new industrialization,informatization,urbanization,agricultural modernization and greening.The agricultural modernization in Suzhou,one of China’s economically developed cities,has always been at the forefront of the country and it’s urgent demand for new professional farmers is naturally self-evident.Suzhou have actively carried out the decision-making arrangements of the central and provincial and municipal governments,and have made great efforts in promoting the development of agricultural modernization and cultivating new professional farmers.Based on the theory of human capital,agricultural economic organization and urban and rural integration,this paper studies the cultivating system of new professional farmers in Suzhou.The main contents are as follows: the analysis of the status quo of the cultivation of new professional farmers in Suzhou;the author analyzes the cultivating system composed by the government,the school and the new agriculture management subjects;how the government,the school and the new agriculture management subjects to improve themselves to support the cultivation of new professional farmers in Suzhou;the author puts forward the feasible suggestions to improve the cultivating system of the new professional farmers in Suzhou from the aspects of optimizing the environment,improving the cultivation mechanism and perfecting the policy system.The government,school and the new agriculture management subjects perform different functions,advantages and emphases in the cultivation of the new professional farmers.This article aims to improve the functions of government,school and new agricultural management subjects to help Suzhou build a better cultivating system of the new professional farmers;to strengthen the security system for the growth and cultivation of new professional farmers,and nurture a group of new professional farmers to truly meet the requirements of the development of agricultural modernization.
