With the concept of "Industry 4.0" and intelligent manufacturing,Chinese manufacturing industry began to make the transition from the traditional low-end manufacturing to high-end smart manufacturing.Intelligent manufacturing is the integration of automation,information and intelligence.The identification and location of material in stream production line is a difficult point of multi-species small and medium-volume intelligent automated manufacturing and automated logistics sorting system.The project of this paper is from the production line of a nuclear fuel business.With the status of a wide variety zirconium tube material types and different structural characteristics of the automatic production line,manual sorting harm the health of workers and cannot meet the subsequent production requirements,using advanced testing technology,information technology,motion control technology,this paper designed a tube automatic recognition and positioning system based on machine vision,which can realize the automatic recognition and positioning.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)Based on the current status and development trend of machine vision technology at home and abroad,problems on the application of machine vision in intelligent manufacturing background were analyzed in this paper.Combined with the actual needs of enterprises,discussed the necessity and feasibility of the automatic recognition and positioning of zirconium tube based on machine vision.(2)According to the actual project requirements of an enterprise,the requirements of the automatic identification and positioning system of zirconium pipe are analyzed.The technical parameter requirements of the system are analyzed,and the system architecture,software and hardware are modeled by UML.(3)Analyzed requirements of the automatic identification and positioning system of the zirconium pipe based on machine vision.The process of automatic identification and location were analyzed,and the hardware and software of the system were selected.(4)Based on the detection process and demand,this paper designed a system software architecture,network topology,system function module,image processing,imaging environment design motion control and the design of database.(5)Starting from the user login of system,connecting of database,the core technologies,including image processing,lighting control and movement control were analyzed.The functions,including the automatic recognition and positioning system of zirconium tube,automatic acquisition,processing and recognition of the work of the system were developed.The system error was also qualitatively analyzed,and the automatic recognition and positioning of pipe material based on machine vision was realized.The automatic recognition and positioning system of pipe material designed in this paper can provide important reference for multi-variety small and medium-sized flexible intelligent manufacturing,automated logistics sorting and special industry automation production.
