Recently,Chinese garment enterprises have high inventories and overcapacity.In the context of global competition and in order to enhance market competitiveness,reform and strengthening of the supply chain management have become the inevitable choice of Chinese garment enterprises.This paper firstly summarized the related researches of supply chain management,focusing on several commonly used evaluation system of supply chain management and supply chain management of garment enterprise.Taking Metersbonwe as an example,this paper described the development and change of supply chain management since its growth.Early,due to limited funds,rapid development of leisure clothing market and huge market space,Metersbonwe achieved great success with the virtual management of supply chain management.But with change in leisure clothing industry,the advantages of virtual business supply chain gradually faded,the disadvantages emerged:inventory crisis and rapid decline in performance.Metersbonwe was forced to practice the reform of supply chain management through increasing investment in direct stores,internet transformation and optimizing its logistics system.By strengthening the control of the sales terminal,Metersbonve started its SPA supply chain management.This paper used Porter's five-force model to show the environmental changes of leisure clothing industry,analyzing the industry environment of Metersbonwe and studying the intrinsic motivation of Metersbonwe's implementation of supply chain management change:the virtual management adapted the garment industry environment,then achieved great success;Later the root cause of the problems is that the supply chain management is not advancing with the times.This paper then made a comparative analysis of the financial indicators of Metersbonwe's supply chain management.This paper analyzed the changes in the supply chain management from its profitability,management ability and solvency in the order of DuPont system.The analysis showed that Metersbonwe's forced supply chain management change did not achieve the desired effect and the reform failed.Finally,this paper gave recommendations in supply chain management construction combined with the failure of Mertersbonwe's reform.Most enterprises faced the same dilemma as Metersbonwe:with the rise of the Chinese people's consumption level and the rise of the middle class,more and more consumers are willing to spend much money,much cost to buy real good commodity at home and abroad,many companies are facing upgrades,in urgent need for supply reform.The paper hopes to use Metersbonwe as an example,letting enterprises pay more attention to the necessity of supply chain management reform.
