At present, the adjustment of retirement age has become a hot topic of social concern. The adjustment of women's retirement age has been an important part of the reform. What are women's attitudes towards extending retirement age? What factors have impact on women's willingness to retire, and how do the factors impact?Basing on the Charls2013 data, this paper uses the rational choice theory as the main theoretical perspective. From the perspective of female micro-individual level,it chooses the Chinese 45-65 year-old middle-aged women as the research object. With the help of descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression model, this paper tries to find out women's willingness to delayed retirement and analyze the impact of economic, personal, social and institutional factors on it at the same time. The study found that, women have a strong desire to delay the retirement.More than half of the women said they would like to work as long as the health permits.Compared with men,the proportion of women who choose to delay retirement is significantly higher than that of men. From the perspective of influencing factors, first of all, economic factors have a significant impact on women's willingness to retire.Among them, both income effect and substitution effect all influences the middle-aged women a lot.Secondly,as for individual factors, the degree of individual education and the type of employment unit play an important role in the retirement intention. The degree of personal education is negatively correlated with the willingness to delayed retirement, while individual firm, individual households and other unit types are positively related to it.Thirdly, the more the social factors in which women need to take care of the elderly in the gender role, the more the willingness to delay the retirement. There is no significant impact on the care of children in gender roles. Finally, the institutional factors have no obvious effect on women's willingness to retire. This paper argues that the trend of delayed retirement is in line with the individual wishes of women and the current social environment. The adjustment of retirement policy should take into account the different demands of different female groups such as income, unit type and educational level.Preferential policy needs to be given to the disadvantaged women during the reform of retirement policy.
