Research On The Factors Affecting Decision On Choosing The Logistics Services Providers

From the gathering of ASEAN and form the ASEAN Economic Community(AEC)in 2016 with the element of free flow of goods,free flow of services,free flow of investment,free flow of capital and free flow of skilled labor.Then,the “Thailand's logistics hub” inspiration has sparked made logistics management interesting.Thais and foreigner enterprises attracted to invest more in this industry.Accordingly,logistics service providers must determine the strategies to keep and increase customers.Thailand is the biggest world's export rubber country and most of them imported by China.As the world demand constantly increased the rubber cultivation area has expanded to every region in Thailand which in turn expects to reap the financial rewards as a result of exporting to China in the near future.Also due to the unstable oil prices,transport costs have also become high,so most exporters rely on logistics service providers to manage their product in supply-chain and logistics processing.Therefore,it is important to study the factors that affecting decision to hire logistics service providers in Thailand's rubber industry.This paper apply the 7P's of marketing mix which consists of product/services,price,place,promotion,people,process and physical environment will be the determining factors.By using the questionnaire survey the members of Thailand's rubber association 57 companies to their attitude with the important level of 7P's marketing mix,their company characteristics and hiring logistics service behavior.Analyze data through statistics program by descriptive the main features of data in term of quantitative,percentage and mean.The inferential method is used to test hypothesizes whether the data strongly enough to relate to the outcome.To analyze the data,the researcher uses One-way ANOVA and chi-square to test hypothesis significant at 0.05 level.
