| In recent years,the rapid development of social economy and the fierce competition of banking industry as well as the great pressure of work inevitably put stressful impact on the bank employees.The phenomenon of job burnout has been constantly highlighted,which not only brought the bank employees exhaustion of body and mind,low service commitments and also a series of problems such as loss of work enthusiasm.It has become the obstacle to raise service quality,and improve efficiency,and achieve better performance.It also has negative effects on the development of banking business.This study first reviews the related theory of job burnout,and as a guide,uses the Maslach burnout inventory to measure the degree of job burnout of staff in Handan CT branch,Bank of China.The scale measures 56 employees from three dimensions,including emotional exhaustion,denationalization and diminished personal achievement.Based on the questionnaire,we choose eight representative employees to conduct a depth interviews.Through these research methods,we find out the current situation of job burnout of the staff in Handan CT branch,Bank of China,and the related influencing factors that affect job burnout.Therefore we can come up with some effective measures to alleviate the degree of job burnout and give some suggestion.The study shows that degree of employees’ job burnout in Handan CT branch,Bank of China is in medium level.To be specific,the degree of emotional exhaustion and denationalization level is higher than other dimension.In other words,there are job burnout tendencies already.The factors that affect the job burnout of the staff of Handan CT branch include job position,workload,performance pressure,salary distribution and career path.Among these factors,staffs whose length of employment are more than 20 years as well as counter clerk suffer from the highest job burnout degree.This paper analyzes the influencing factors of job burnout and gives specific suggestions from both the individual and the organizational level. |
