A Research Of The Impact Of International Logistics Performance On China’s Import

In recent years,China’s international trade status has been promoted and the international environment has changed a lot.When we put more emphasis on the function of export of promoting economic development,we cannot neglect the importance of import in increasing inner elements and promoting the optimization of trade structure.After the present of The Belt and Road strategy,the international trade between China and countries on the B&R will make a forward step.How to utilize each other’s advantages is deserved to be investigated.Meanwhile,international logistics has been emerging industries,and it has great influence to international trade.Basing on logistics performance,this paper research the impact of logistic performance index of main countries of The Belt and Road on China’s import from theoretical and practical perspective.This paper firstly reviews the related research in this field,and expounds the interaction between logistics and international trade,and describes the gravity model and its application,which is the basis for the empirical research model.Secondly,from the theoretical view,we analyze the mechanism of how the international logistics influences international trade,which includes international logistics system elements;the industrial division,cost theory and value chain theory.After theoretical analysis,this paper described 15 major trade countries logistics performance index and subdivision index and the import trade condition with China from"The Belt and Road".On the basis of the initial description,we can make a judgment of the relationship between import trade and logistics performance.On the basis of the above theory and the analysis of the current situation,this paper uses the extended gravity model to analyze the impact of logistic performance of the main trade countries along the line on China’s import trade.The logistics performance index has significant positive effects on China’s import trade.In addition to GDP,the area variables have a significant positive impact on import trade,and the factors of distance and common boundary have a negative effect on import trade.Finally,on the basis of theoretical and empirical analysis,the conclusions and suggestions are put forward.
