That the turnover rate of enterprise employees remains high has become one of the important reasons which impede the development of industries,and the hotel industry mainly embodies this issue.In the current stage,the competition in the hotel industry has been gradually from the competition of such aspects as hardware conditions to the competition of service level.As a service industry,the representative product of the hotel industry is “service”,and the service quality is directly related to the stability of the staff team.Therefore,employees have become strategic resources for the sustainable development of hotels,and the management shall attach high importance to them.After the actual survey we find that,the turnover rate of employees of ZS Grand Hotel has remained high,and the high amount of HR cost produced therein poses great pressure on the enterprise.In order to recover the turnover rate of the employees of the hotel to a normal level,this article collects the data of the employees' work satisfaction by questionnaire survey,and summarizes key factors which lead to the high turnover rate of the employees based on the research results of other scholars by referring to the turnover status of the employees in recent years.Such factors mainly include: The employees' reasons,the reasons of the hotel and the pressure from the society.The employees' reasons are decided by the employees,while the reasons from the society are objectively formed,and the hotel is difficult to fundamentally control the two reasons.However,for the reasons of the hotel,adverse factors can be reduced and even eliminated by improving the management mechanism,improving the salary and welfare structure,building hotel culture,providing more professional training programs,establishing a better talent retention mechanism,etc.Of course,if the hotel can do a better job in the above work and decides to improve its status,there may be active effect to whether the employees consider to leave it or not if they want to do it due to their own reasons and the pressure from the society.For the philosophy of hotel governance,the author believes the hotel management can also have more ideas.The hotel must not only focus on its profit achievement,but also shall value the growth of its staff,particularly their mental health,occupational quality,work satisfaction,etc.Only by understanding what its employees really want and being people-first can it solve problems fundamentally.Therefore,the article focuses on discussing the improvement of the hotel motivation mechanism and management mechanism in the follow-up discussion.
