With the development and change of the global economy,the competition among ports in the world is becoming more and more fierce,and it is getting Heated.Port competitiveness is not only a symbol of the port itself,but also represents the future development trend of the economic hinterland,and it not only affects the competitiveness of the region,but also represents the overall competitiveness of a country.With the development of our economy,the port competitiveness has become an important part of the sustainable development of our country.Therefore,the improvement of port competitiveness has become a problem that the port operators attach importance to.To enhance the competitiveness of the port needs every aspect,not only to keep up with the excellent business model of other ports,but also to constantly summarize their own experience in the development process,from the development of the port,take its essence,to its mess,only to continue to move forward in the field can not stand.This paper studies a large number of port competitiveness related data,summarizes recent research results at home and abroad,reviews the latest research progress,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of various analysis methods,select data including analysis as a port competitiveness analysis method,data envelopment analysis model,and supplemented by factor analysis model,to eliminate the limitations of the data envelope analysis method itself,making the analysis more accurate and conclusive,the port competitiveness evaluation index system is established to determine input and output indicators.Then the index is treated again by factor analysis.Taking Dalian port as an example,the comprehensive evaluation and analysis of port competitiveness is conducted according to its actual operation,which provides the theoretical basis for port decision makers to optimize resource allocation,improve efficiency and operation effect and benefit.
