China is a large agricultural country, and agriculture is the foundation of the stable and orderly development of our national economy and society. In the long term, the state has introduced various measures to promote the development of agriculture, the employment of farmers and the increase of farmers' income,so as to ensure the national food security. After years of unremitting efforts,China's agriculture and rural development have reached a new level, with steady growth in grain output and rising incomes. However, with the development of industrialization and urbanization in our country, great changes have taken place in the rural social structure, especially after the 1990 s,a large number of rural labor move to cities, caused the occupation differentiation of peasant employment level, appeared to the unique social phenomenon represented by "the tide of migrant workers".And for a long time,China's rural land management are showing fragmentation, decentralized characteristics, which has seriously hindered the development of modern agriculture and the increase of farmers' income.Although the transfer of the rural labor force to the second and tertiary industries obviously improved the income level of the peasant households in China,it caused the land to be idle or even abandoned in some areas, resulting in a great waste of the most important elements of agricultural production, affecting China's agricultural production and national food security. Therefore, how to achieve the optimal allocation of land resources has been taken seriously by policy makers. It is widely agreed that the effective allocation of land resources, the scale of agricultural production and the increase of farmers'income can be achieved through land transfer.China's years of practical experience shows that the land transfer has greatly mobilized the enthusiasm of the farmers, and the efficiency of agricultural production has been improved.2017 Central No.1 document "The CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the deepening of the agricultural supply side of the structural reform to speed up the development of agricultural and rural areas to develop new kinetic energy of a number of opinions",points out that on the basis of national food security, increasing farmers' income and the effective supply are the main target,to speed up the development of land circulation, improve land productivity and labor productivity, actively promote moderate scale management.Under this background,it is of great significance to deepen the understanding of the relationship between land transfer and farmer's income, and study the impact of land transfer on farmer's income from the perspective of employment differentiation. This paper first sorts out the relevant literature and research status on employment differentiation, land transfer and farmer's income, and expounds the theoretical basis of the association. On this basis, the paper further analyzes the current situation of farmers' employment, land circulation and income of farmers in china.Through the analysis,it is found that the scale of land circulation in China has been expanding but the growth rate has started to slow down, the income level of farmers has been continuously improved and the income structure has changed. The proportion of wage income to income level has exceeded the operating income, indicating the salary from non-agricultural employment income has surpassed traditional agricultural income. Then, based on the CFPS2014 national large sample survey data, this paper studies the impact of land transfer on the income level of farmers from the perspective of employment differentiation, and further analysis the influence of employment differentiation and land transfer on farmers' income structure. The results show that the land transfer has a positive positive effect on the income level of the households, but the effect on the different income is different.Employment differentiation significantly affected the total household income of farmers, the higher the proportion of non-farm employment, the higher the total income of family farmers.Meanwhile, the land circulation behavior of agricultural employment and non-agricultural employment group still has a positive effect on the increase of farmer's income. On the one hand, the increasement of non-agricultural employment ratio can achieve the re-allocation of surplus labor related to the land, improving land output per unit of labor rate, and thus to increase farmers' income. On the other hand, the non-agricultural employment will lead to part of idle land, which can be tranferred to the famers with the motivation of the expansion of business,to enhance the efficiency of agricultural production and achieve income increase. Finally, based on the analysis and empirical research of the current situation of employment differentiation, land circulation and farmer's income, this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions to promote farmer employment, land circulation and farmers' income.
