The reconstruction of urban villages is a complex and systematic project.Enhancing the quality of life of residents in urban villages and helping them to successfully complete the transformation of identity from villagers to citizenship is the necessary meaning of urban village reconstruction. There are also differences in the degree of satisfaction with the transformation of urban residents in different reconstruction modes. The market-dominated model has its own unique advantages and is also the preferred model for the reconstruction of urban villages in Guangzhou At present, there is a lack of research on the evaluation of urban residents' satisfaction with urban transformation in a certain transformation mode. Therefore, the study has a novel perspective. And the study has strong reference value and guiding significance for guiding the reconstruction of similar villages under the market-oriented model in Guangzhou and also has certain reference value for the reconstruction of urban villages in other types or other cities. The article starts with a micro-perspective.According to the evaluation of the degree of satisfaction of residents in urban villages, the article takes the reconstruction of Yangji village in Guangzhou as a research case. The overall satisfaction degree, structural variables satisfaction, and satisfaction degree of individual characteristics were evaluated for the residents of Yangji village. Then the influencing factors of residents' satisfaction in Yangji village were investigated empirically using exploratory factor analysis and structural equation models. The results show that:(1)By comparing the three transformation modes,it is shown that the market leading mode is the preferred option for the reconstruction of the village in the city.(2)Residents' satisfaction with the overall improvement of Yangji village tends to be"satisfactory".The highest level of satisfaction was achieved in terms of "the participation of villagers," "cultural protection and heritage," and "the community and surrounding facilities." The lowest level of satisfaction was achieved in terms of"Community Planning and Environment" and "Property Management".The result was also consistent with the actual situation.(3)Individual differences also affect satisfaction, including residents' age, educational level, family size, and job type.(3)The most significant factors affecting the overall satisfaction are the residential environment and quality, government and corporate behavior, and residential conditions in descending order. These three latent variables include multiple significant variables with strong correlation. Finally, the related suggestions for improving the satisfaction of residents in urban villages are proposed.
