Research On Equipment Manufacturing Industry Cooperation Between China And Central Asian Five Countries

At present,the overcapacity situation in China's equipment manufacturing industry is grim,and the necessity and urgency of "going out" have become increasingly prominent.Central Asian five countries are rich in natural resources and are pushing forward the process of industrialization and infrastructure construction.Cooperation between China and the five countries in Central Asia has broad prospects.What's more,"the Silk Road" also provides a good opportunity for China's equipment manufacturing industry to "going out" and cooperate with Central Asian countries.In order to put forward some policy suggestions on how to strengthen the cooperation,this paper analyzes the cooperation between China and five central Asian countries in the equipment manufacturing industry with trade and investment as the two main lines.This article analyzes the equipment manufacturing industry cooperation between China and five Central Asian countries in terms of development status,trade potential measurement and investment environment assessment.By using the revealed comparative advantage index and the trade complementarity index,and building an extended trade gravitation model,this paper uses Stata software to empirically analyze the trade potential.By factor analysis and building an index system for the investment environment of the equipment manufacturing industry,the paper used the Stata software to empirically assess the investment environment of the five Central Asian countries.Results of the paper are as following.Firstly,bilateral trade volume of equipment manufacturing industry is proportional to the China's GDP,GDP of the importing country,final government consumer spending,the common border of the two parties to the trade,and the same belonging to the Shanghai Economic Cooperation Organization,and inversely proportional to the density of the railway line network.Secondly,at present,Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,and Uzbekistan are "trade pioneering types." Tajikistan is "re-modeling trade type," and Turkmenistan is "huge potential type." Thirdly,Kazakhstan has the best investment environment of the equipment manufacturing industry in the five countries in Central Asia.Turkmenistan is the second.Uzbekistan is the third.Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are the last two.Finally,in recent years,the five countries has shown a good trend in their investment climate.Based on the above conclusions,the paper makes some suggestions from three levels:government,industry,and enterprise.
