Since the 1970 s,financial institutions have increasingly concentrated in a certain area, and financial industry agglomeration has become a common phenomenon in modern economic society. For Fujian Province, financial clustering has occurred in several major cities in the province and in areas with high levels of economic development. However, due to the asymmetry between the financial concentration and radiation functions of big cities, the financial development in the eastern, central and western regions of Fujian Province has a large gap, which affects the income of residents in various regions of Fujian Province, and the overall growth of Fujian's overall income is still mainly caused by several fast-growing cities on the eastern coast. Therefore,we should pay attention to research and then bring into play the financial radiation function of the central cities so as to bring about a common increase in the income level of residents in the province. In order to study the impact of financial agglomeration in nine cities of Fujian Province on the income of residents, first of all,the author reviewed the research results of domestic and foreign scholars in this field, and based on relevant theories, analyzed how financial agglomeration affects resident's income from the economic growth transmission mechanism, the industrial adjustment transmission mechanism and the urbanization transmission mechanism.Secondly, the degree of financial agglomeration in nine cities of Fujian Province was measured and estimated by the principal component analysis method, and was classified using the cluster analysis method. Finally, the exploratory spatial data analysis is used to test the spatial correlation degree of adjacent or adjacent spatial unit attribute values.Based on this, the Spatial Autoregressive Panel Data Model is selected to analyze the influence of regional financial agglomeration on residents' income from three major transmission mechanisms and choose the Spatial Durbin Panel Data Model to analyze the impact of financial agglomeration in neighboring regions on residents' income in the region from spatial spillover effect.Based on the analysis of the degree of financial agglomeration in nine cities of Fujian Province, and the fitting of spatial data and the exploratory spatial data analysis, the conclusions obtained in this paper are as follows:(1)From the perspective of the evolution model of temporal financial agglomeration growth, during the entire period of study, the degree of financial industry clustering in nine cities of Fujian Province has shown a steady growth trend.(2)Through exploratory spatial data analysis,it is verified that there is a clear spatial autocorrelation between per capita income and financial agglomeration in residents of nine cities of Fujian Province, that is,there is a spatial agglomeration effect. Most areas of Fujian Province belong to the low-high agglomeration type area, showing the decreasing situation of the eastern coastal areas towards the inland areas of the central and western regions.(3)For the region, financial agglomeration enhances the residents' income level through the economic growth transmission mechanism, industrial adjustment transmission mechanism and urbanization transmission mechanism, and economic growth, industrial adjustment and urbanization will strengthen the impact of financial agglomeration on residents' income;as far as neighboring regions are concerned, financial agglomerations in neighboring regions have a significant role in radiating the residents' income in the region through spatial spillover effects. Finally, based on the conclusions of the article, the following recommendations are made: we should focus on promoting financial macro reforms, promote financial industry agglomeration;make full use of the interaction between neighboring cities to promote the formation of financial agglomeration;and promote financial agglomeration to increase the residents' income level from the three major transmission mechanisms.
