Research On Improve Project Value Of BW Auto Turbocharger New Product Development

Now China's auto market has entered into mature stage after a rapid growth,the market growth is slowing,China's auto industry structural become overcapacity due to have lots of new entrants,so competition between enterprises is increasingly fierce.At the same time,the demand of the car factory is become more and more diversified that cause the cycle time of new product development shorten and the product development cycle be accelerated.In order to guarantee the value of new product development project as far as possible to maximize profits,project value management on new product development of auto parts is become more and more important.To some extent,the key to the success or failure of new product development is not due to the differences of their own technical ability,will mainly depends on the effective and practical project value management ability,also to ensure that the value of the project within the target range.This ability is difficult to be imitated,also not rely on investment funds or purchase new equipment can achieve this ability,it is the key ability of enterprise improves core competitive and innovation,while many enterprises will easy to ignore this ability.This paper firstly takes automotive turbocharger new product development of BW company as background,on the basis of theory of modern project management,value management theory and theory of new product development project,in combination with the actual situation of BW company new product development of the turbocharger,confirmed the research topic of this paper;then,through the analysis of the new product development of BW Company existing project management process,we finds that the existing BW company project management system does not reflect how to safeguard economic value and social value of the project,and then optimize BW company new product development project management system to guarantee new product development project value;finally,it combines with the example of BW Company Volvo GEP3 turbocharger development project,that ensure the value guarantee system of new product development is feasible and practical.
