| Throughout the research related to production system improvement at home and abroad,TOC and VSM as effective improvement management methods are widely accepted by more and more enterprises.Based on the analysis of the characteristics and commonness of VSM and TOC,as well as the advantages of the two methods in practice,this paper puts forward an improved method which combines their strengths.Firstly,identify the current value stream and clear relationship between production capacity and target demands,then set up the concept model of TOC+ VSM production improvement system,through which we can discusses the different modes of production system improvement while demands exceeds capacity or capacity meets demands.In short,take production system as the research object,when the system output is in short supply,choose the TOC basic principle to break through the bottleneck,combining with the TPM and specific industrial engineering(IE)methods to solve the capacity bottleneck.On the contrary,when the system is not facing greater pressure on the yield,according to Lean Production’s "To make value flow" principle of system identification,find the waste which against value flow,combined with the three basic indicators of TOC in enterprise performance assessment to sort the waste and set in order,finding out the most serious factors affecting system output step by step to continuously implement improvement activities.After establish the production system improvement method of TOC and VSM combined.Select S automobile enterprise painting production system as a case study,by analysis and research on the target system using the TOC+ VSM method,and putting forward reasonable improvement solutions,make the researching system to achieve the result that capacity ramp up,product quality improved significantly,equipment utilization improved,production cycle time and labor costs reduced and value-added rate increased,etc.These improvement fully verified the feasibility and validity of the method. |
