Research On Development Strategy Of CNPC In Kazakhstan

Energy is a crucial material basis of the development of national economy.The rapid economic development promotes the rapid increase in energy consumption.To promote economic growth and ensure energy security,making a reasonable development strategy is essential.As one of the leading company of China's energy industry,the development strategy of CNPC has a great impact on the implementation of China's energy security plan.This paper is about the development strategy of CNPC in Kazakhstan.The research is based on the development status of the CNPC in Kazakhstan.Firstly,by the use of PEST model the politics,economic,social,technological environment of CNPC in Kazakhstan were analyzed,which provided the recognition of the opportunities and threats in Kazakhstan.Secondly,by using Porter's five forces model analyzed the existing competitors,new entrants who substitutes,bargaining power of buyers and suppliers.After analyzing the oil-gas development of CNPC in Kazakhstan by DELPHI-SWOT hybrid analysis method,made a strategic choice;Finally decided the safety precautions of the strategy.
