Research On The Development Of Specialized Farmers Cooperatives In Chengdu

Xi Jinping said that agricultural cooperatives are the direction of development,and it has gave great contribution to agricultural modernization.His Speech was concise but rich in content,and brilliantly expounded the importance of Specialized Farmers Cooperatives in promoting the development of agriculture,rural areas and farmers.Since the appearance of the new specialized farmers cooperatives in 1980 s,the amount of investment of specialized farmers cooperatives is increasing,and the forms of cooperation are more and more diverse with more and more Influence.In 2015,Chinese total number of specialized farmers’ cooperatives is more than 1.479 million;more than 99.97 million households join the community,covering the country’s 41.7% farmers.It has been proved by practice that Specialized Farmers Cooperatives play an important role in changing the mode of agricultural development,promoting the reform of the supply side of agriculture,and solving the problems of the "Three Rural" issue.However,it must be awarded that there is a big gap between us and developed countries and region.The number of cooperatives is increasing rapidly with false,and death cooperatives overrun.In the new period,the development of specialized farmer s’ cooperatives is changing from the emphasis on quantity to quality.How can specialized farmers cooperatives unite the majority of farmers,and how to really play the role of "cooperation" are the spotlight of the "Three Rural" issue.Generally speaking,the specific reasons for the development of specialized farmer’s cooperatives are different.The basic reasons for the development of the poor are the same.It is necessary to study the development of specialized farmers’ cooperatives in a specific cultural area.The number of specialized farmers’ cooperatives in Chengdu is very large,and the development situation is very different which is typical.Therefore,this paper chooses Chengdu to make analysis,hoping to provide reference for the development of farmers’ professional cooperatives in other areas.This paper is divided into six parts for analysis and presentation:The first part introduces the topics of the contextual meaning of the paper.In the background of building a well-off society in an all-round way,the development of specialized farmers’ cooperatives entered a new period.It is of great significance to carry out systematic research on the development of specialized farmers cooperatives in Chengdu.Then the paper introduces the domestic and foreign research review and the final point of the article,and the short comings innovations are introduced.The second part is a literature review.It defines the concept of specialized farmers’ cooperatives,and lists several specialized farmers cooperatives development mode.Then it introduces the reason to develop farmer cooperatives from three aspects,such as protecting the interests of farmers,dealing with the failure of government and market,improving the quality and safety of agricultural products.This paper reviews the development history of specialized farmers’ cooperatives from the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the present.Finally,the paper analyzes the development of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Germany,France,the United States,Japan and other countries,and introduces the development situation of specialized farmers’ cooperatives in Suzhou,Wuxi and other places.The third part is the main part of the paper.First,this paper briefly introduces the general situation of agriculture about Chengdu including the three stages of the development of specialized farmers’ cooperatives,and some measures taken by the government.This paper analyzes the development of the farmer specialized cooperatives from three aspects: the industrial form,the industry and the distribution area.This paper points out its characteristics and achievements,makes a study on Dujiangyan vegetable industry quality and safety alliance,Changsong peach cooperatives,Pujiang Zhongxin Tangelo professional cooperatives.It further shows that the development of farmers’ professional cooperatives must explore their own path based on their own advantages.The fourth part summarizes the problems existing in the development of specialized farmers’ cooperatives in Chengdu on the basis of empirical analysis.The main problems are the typical model cooperatives,non-standard management,and financial loans that cannot meet the demand.It analyzes the reasons which are the short development time,purpose impure,low co-operative threshold,paying more attention to speed,high financing risk,and imperfect security mechanism.The fourth part is suggestions.On the basis of the above analysis,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the development of specialized farmers’ cooperatives from the short-term and long-term combined with the actual situation of Chengdu.The main suggestions are the construction of a number of typical demonstration cooperatives,strictly regulations about the development of cooperatives,training and introducing leading talents,and enhancing cooperative financing ability.The sixth part is the conclusion part.It points out the new development direction of farmer specialized cooperatives.The deficiency of this paper is that it is hard to get more detailed information about the development of specialized farmers’ cooperatives in other cities.Besides,the author has limited information that cannot obtain the orientation of the development of specialized farmers cooperatives in the whole country,so the combination of research and the actual situation may be biased and needs to be further optimized.
