Research On Traffic Congestion Management In The Central Of Zhuhai

China's economy has been developing rapidly since the reform and opening up.Urban construction is also showing a trend of rapid development.The urban traffic accompanying the urban development has entered a stage of rapid development,but at the same time,there are also some problems.In recent years,with the traffic congestion becoming more and more obvious,provinces and cities have begun to take positive measures to improve traffic congestion,try to ease urban traffic jams and ensure effective access to roads.Although all in improving the traffic congestion problem on achieved certain results,but there is still a gap with the actual needs of these people travel,distance to meet the requirement of development of the economy of our country has a certain gap,city road traffic management in our country still have a lot of room for improvement.The twelfth session of the Fifth National People's Congress Premier Li Keqiang's government work report,the first mention in Hong Kong and Macao Bay area city group development planning concept(compared with the New York Bay area,San Francisco Bay,Tokyo Bay Area),Zhuhai city is the only link at the same time in Hong Kong and Macao developed coastal city,has played a pivotal role in the bay area construction however,Zhuhai's geographical location determines its inevitable construction of Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area in traffic hub.At the same time,the development of social economy and to the traffic of Zhuhai is a big problem,causing traffic congestion in the city,to travel and people public life has brought great change,especially when the opening of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge after a large number of Hong Kong and Macao vehicles into Zhuhai,will undoubtedly make the traffic congestion in Zhuhai one disaster after another.Therefore,it is urgent to solve the problem of traffic congestion.Based on the above research background and significance,this paper through the literature analysis,case study,qualitative analysis and comparative analysis,introduced the concept of city traffic,traffic congestion index,based on the understanding of the concept,according to the traffic planning,traffic construction and traffic management aspects,aims to analyze and study the Zhuhai city center traffic congestion the problem.This thesis is divided into six chapters,the first chapter discusses the researchbackground and significance,research status at home and abroad,the goal and main content and research methods;the second chapter puts forward the theoretical basis of this paper;the third chapter analyzes the situation of traffic in Zhuhai city;the fourth chapter analyses the problems and causes of facing traffic congestion in Zhuhai city center the fifth chapter;comparison of domestic and foreign traffic congestion governance experience;to solve the problem of traffic congestion in Zhuhai city center sixth chapter,countermeasures and suggestions.The study found that the traffic speed of Zhuhai central urban area has been decreasing year by year,traffic congestion has been increasing year by year,vehicle speed has been decreasing year by year,the competitiveness of public transport needs to be promoted,the proportion of slow traffic is decreasing year by year,and traffic order needs to be improved.Aiming at the existing problems,this paper puts forward measures such as advocating green travel,improving bus quality,strengthening slow network,mining potential of facilities,regulating traffic demand and scientific traffic management.Safe and smooth traffic environment in Zhuhai city is not only relates to the healthy development of the economy and the living standard of people,but also the relationship between the construction of Guangdong Bay Area as well as the success of the smooth implementation of the national strategic policy,to alleviate the current situation of traffic congestion in Zhuhai City Center related countermeasures are presented in this paper,contribute to the Zhuhai municipal government and traffic management departments to clarify ideas,but also to other city in the Pearl River Delta to solve the traffic jam problem plays a certain reference role.
