Cities are the largest space on the surface that is most different from the natural environment.As the material carrier of urbanization,the use of urban land has a direct impact on the sustainable development of social economy and the steady improvement of the quality of human life.Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization,the phenomenon of extensive urban expansion has resulted in a sharp reduction of large areas of high-quality cultivated land resources.Food security is facing great challenges.At the same time,a series of environmental problems,such as environmental pollution,ecological degradation and so on,are becoming more and more prominent,and the contradiction between man and land is becoming more and more serious.The urbanization rate is expected to reach more than 60% in2020 when our country builds a well-off society in an all-round way.With the increasing of urbanization rate,it is of great significance to improve the output of urban construction land area and promote the intensive use of urban land.First of all,this paper introduces the background of the selected topic,the current situation of the research,the relevant theoretical basis and the description and analysis of the status quo of urban land use in 31 provinces in mainland China.To clarify the theories and methods of Urban Land use efficiency and the Urban Land use Model in China.Secondly,the environmental pollution factor is brought into the research category,and the model is constructed by using the directional distance function.The non-expected output emission efficiency and the expected output efficiency are analyzed from the two perspectives of input factor and output factor,respectively.The non-expected output emission reduction potential and the expected output expansion potential are obtained.According to the emission reduction potential and expansion potential characteristics of 31 provinces,the 31 provinces are divided into three categories from the perspective of intensive urban land use,such as high-efficient land use areas,extensive areas and relatively ineffective areas.Then,using the GML index method,the urban land use efficiency and its power source characteristics in 31 provinces are analyzed by time series analysis and regional difference comparison analysis,to make clear the change of urban land use efficiency and internal driving factors in the three regions.Finally,based on the panel data of 31 provinces from2005 to 2015,a panel data regression model is constructed to analyze the effect of various factorson urban land use efficiency.Combined with the change characteristics of urban land use efficiency and the influence factors of the three regions,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward.
