Analysis And Uses On Rice Production Efficiency Of TaiWan

In 2017,The central one document proposed to adjust and optimize the planting structure,stabilize grain production,and develop high-quality rice.Rice production concerns employment opportunities,social stability,ecological environment,government budgets,food security and food safety issues,and occupies an extremely important position in social production.This paper uses Taiwan's rice production cost-benefit and other relevant data to empirically analyze Taiwan's rice production efficiency.From the input-output value of rice production costs in 15 counties and cities in Taiwan between 2002 and 2016,the DEA-BCC model was used to analyze the first and second.Rice static production efficiency,and using the DEA-Malmquist model to analyze the changes in total factor productivity,technical efficiency changes,technological progress changes,pure technical efficiency changes,and scale efficiency changes in the first and second phases of rice production,and then use the grey correlation The model explores the interactions among various decomposition factors.Finally,based on the measurement of production efficiency,the Tobit model is used to analyze the factors that affect the production efficiency of rice in the first and second phases.The results showed that:From the perspective of the differences in rice production in the first and second phases,the production of the first rice was better than the second,and the average technical efficiency of the first and second rice production was 0.974 and 0.966 respectively;In Taiwan,the overall rice production efficiency is at a relatively high level.The effective rice production efficiency areas that have reached DEA are Yilan County,Hsinchu County,Changhua County,Yunlin County,Chiayi County,Pingtung County,Taitung County,Taoyuan City and Hualien.The county's rice production efficiency is relatively poor;from the dynamic changes in rice production efficiency over the years,Taiwan's rice production efficiency is better,technical efficiency and technological progress affect the total production rate of the first phase of rice production,while the second phase of rice The changes in total factor productivity in production are mainly due to technological progress and are less affected by changes in technological efficiency.Taiwan's rice production efficiency is at a relatively high level.At present,it has formed a comparatively unique development advantage.Drawing on Taiwan's practices and experiences in rice production,it is of great significance to promote the development of Fujian's rice industry.Based on the empirical analysis and summarization of the similarities and differences between rice production in Fujian and Taiwan,a summary of Taiwan's rice production for reference to Fujian.It is believed that Fujian Province should improve the competitiveness of the rice industry by accelerating technological innovation,developing high-efficiency agriculture,branding production,developing refined rice,innovating business models,fostering high-quality rice,innovating the land system,and highlighting policy support.
