Since 2004,after ESRI released ArcGIS Engine development kit,development based on ArcEngine secondary has become one of the mainstream of the development of geographic information systems technology.But because of the large component library and interface developers,it cannot be mastered easily.In view of this,the practical application-oriented class library and the interface of the ArcEngine,based on geographic information system industry needs to function as a unit to re-package,to produce a set of more concise and easier to accept and use the component library-the GEOHOME component libraries,which greatly simplifies the ArcEngine secondary development work,and a significant reduction in the subsequent development of redundant code,improve the efficiency of secondary development.The set of components in the design of the case of the ArcGIS secondary development of third-party components,including third-party control library and third-party libraries in two parts,a supplement on ArcEngine component library,can be complementary to the existing class libraries with ArcEngine mutual used to achieve the perfect combination.The GEOHOME component library covers a geographic data rendering data vector,image correction,primitive measurement,spatial analysis,3D processing,thematic mapping,laser scanning point cloud data analysis and processing applications such as direction,is widely used in digital citiestraffic management,forest fire monitoring,land management,digital power,slope monitoring industry.GEOHOME provides all the interfaces are the object-oriented development method for application design,each type of interface to provide the same application field related processing algorithms,the GIS development highly modular,truly realize the GIS application project of building development.This not only greatly improves the development efficiency,but also greatly reduces the difficulty of development.Because GEOHOME is application oriented design,so the developers of lower demand,does not require developers to have the professional knowledge of geographic information.GEOHOME platform in the National 863 project" forest resources forest map drawing system " and " project of Shendong mining area Institute of remote satellite remote sensing monitoring operation project artificial interaction system " can be successfully applied,and achieved good results.
