Study On Regional Environmental Efficiency And Its Influencing Factors In China

In recent years,China has made remarkable progress in economic and social development.At the same time,the deteriorating environment has become a topic of great concern to people.The extensive development model has caused serious damage to our ecological environment,and environmental problems have become one of the bottlenecks restricting the sustainable development of our country.Under the background of low carbon environmental development,China is trying to explore ways to promote low-carbon green development and improve regional environmental efficiency.Research on environmental efficiency can help policymakers find out the social,economic,environmental and other factors in the development process of different regions,then the effective environmental improvement measures are put forward.Under the guidance of the theory of all factor production and the theory of sustainable development,this paper first evaluates the static environmental efficiency of 30 provinces in China by using SBM model,and uses super-SBM efficiency to analyze the static trend and dynamic trend of the inter provincial environmental efficiency in China,it is found that the environmental efficiency of China has been slowly rising in the past years,and the trend of environmental efficiency is basically the same every year,and the difference of environmental efficiency is gradually narrowing.;Secondly,the regional environmental efficiency of China's traditional regional division is studied Cluster analysis is used to reclassify China's region,and on this basis,regional environmental efficiency trend analysis is carried out,then the influence of several major factors including energy intensity on environmental efficiency is analyzed by the mixed regression model,the following conclusions are drawn:from the perspective of traditional Chinese regional division,the environmental efficiency of Eastern,central and western regions is similar to the level of economic development,based on the regional division of inter provincial environmental efficiency,the environmental efficiency is divided into three efficient areas,such as high,medium and low,and the provinces in each region are not in accordance with each other;from the influence factors of environmental efficiency,the regression results show that there is a significant positive correlation between the energy intensity,the industrial structure opening level,the technological progress and the regional environmental efficiency,and the urbanization level is positively affecting the regional environmental efficiency but is not significant;the economic intensity,the government regulation and the regional environmental efficiency have a negative phase.Customs relations.On the basis of the results of the empirical study,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coordinated development of China's regional community economy and environmental protection:adjusting China's energy consumption structure,promoting energy saving and emission reduction;develop Circular Economy and change the way of economic growth;promoting the development of innovation and improving the efficiency of technology transformation;and coordinate regional environmental efficiency development and give consideration to economic environment efficiency.
