As a plant fiber with excellent prospects,akund fiber has the advantages of high degree of fiber hollowness,small bulk density,cashmere-like luster,good thermal insulation,soft and comfortable feeling.It has good market prospects,driven by the concept of sustainable development nowadays.However,the application of akund fiber faces a series of problems.For example,the problems of poor spinnability,serious electrostatic phenomena and fragile textiles in the late stage due to the properties of smoothness and softness lead to a series of problems.How to effectively deal with the fiber to be developed and widely used is a very important problem.This paper aimed to improve the flexibility of akund fiber and decrease the fragility of fiber to carry out research work,the specific research includes the following aspects:(1)Test and analysis of fiber structure and performance.In order to have clear understanding of the properties of the tested fibers,a series of basic performance tests were conducted on akund fibers from Yunnan.The appearance of the fibers,the basic length and fineness,hygroscopicity and infrared analysis of the fiber is researched,etc.Meanwhile,the fiber can be expressed by the compression experiment of the fiber assembly in characterizing the compressive recovery and breakage of the fiber and the retention of the hollowness.Therefore,on the basic of the study in Kapok fiber compression properties,through the akund fiber layer or fiber assembly compression experiments to characterize the fiber hollow degree or degree of retention,the use of KES-FB3 fabric style tester,in addition,comparative analysis between the wet and dry fiber assembly about compressibility also has significant differences and is conducted to guide to adapt wet and dry environment regulation during the fiber processing.(2)Weak alkali pretreatment of fiber.After studying the basic structural properties of akund fiber,this article focuses on the spinnability of the fiber and the fragmentation of the processed products.Akund fiber has the smooth appearance,low friction,long columnar shape,high hollow structure and thin wall thickness about 0.6-1.2 ?m.The content of cellulose in the fiber component is only about 60%,and the rest of the components,especially lignin,can lead to poor fiber flexibility,the processing is compressed,the role of torsion is easy to break;predecessors often use sodium hydroxide fiber to remove non-cellulosic material to improve the spinnability effect,however,sodium hydroxide as a strong base,also make the damage of fiber's mechanical properties,so in this paper,sodium carbonate weak base was used to treat the fiber to explore different sodium carbonate mass fraction,temperature,time on the mechanical properties,and the weight loss rate of the fiber,and for the akund fiber weak base pretreatment program: sodium carbonate Mass fraction is 20 g / L,reaction time is 30 min,reaction time temperature is 40 ?.(3)Study on microwave assisted weak base pretreatment of fibers.In order to furtherimprove the pretreatment efficiency and the uniformity of fiber treatment,we use the combination of microwave and sodium carbonate to pretreat the fibers.Microwave power and reaction time were discussed.The reaction time of microwave pretreatment had a significant effect on the rate of weight loss and moisture regain of fiber.After appropriate microwave,the treatment of the fibers showed a certain increase in the fiber and elongation,which indicated that the structure of the fibers had been changed.With the increase of the reaction time,the weight loss rate gradually increased to gentleness and the moisture regain increased firstly and then decreased to a steady value.In addition,because the microwave reaction was efficient,the test must have precise control of the time.(4)Curing treatment after pretreatment of akund fibers.In order to make up for pretreatment which brought the damage of fiber mechanics performance,and at the same time to improve the mechanical properties and the surface roughness of akund fiber,and then adopt the solution to the curing treatment of fiber;In this paper,I used the aid composed of starch emulsion,glycerin and other drugs to explore the effect of starch mass fraction,stirring speed of starch solution,dosage of glycerol and temperature of starch solution on the final regimen.The choice of regimen is as follows: the choice of 1% starch concentration,glycerol concentration of 3%,oleic acid is 10 g / L,infiltration agent JFC is 1g / L,reaction temperature is 70 ?,reaction time is 24 h.The ultimate strength and elongation of the final fibers reached 3.31 c N/dtex and 3.03%,respectively,which were increased by 26.34% and 21.2% compared with 2.50% and 2.62 c N /dtex respectively.(5)Study on the dyeing properties of fiber before and after weak alkali pretreatment.Compared with the untreated fiber,in dyeing aspect,because akund fiber belongs to plant fiber,cellulose fiber itself contains a large number of hydroxyl and pretreatment make the hydroxyl opened inside the fiber,which can be combined into a solid molecular group with reactive dyes,so the paper choose reactive dyes.The effects of sodium carbonate treatment on the K / S value and dye uptake rate of fiber were compared,the dyeing properties of cotton fiber and akund fiber in reactive dyes were compared at the same time.At last,the suitable akund fiber reactive dyes dyeing program is as follows: for Reactive dyes called X-3B,the concentration of dyes is 2%(owf),the reaction temperature is 50 ?,the amount of salt is 40 g / L,the amount of alkali is 5g /L,the dyeing rate could up to 64%.
