With the increasingly intense competition in the steel market,the expansion sales of variety steel to central China,Southwest China had already become an tendency after the output ratio of variety steel increasingly improved.Bao Steel and Wuhan Steel are the major suppliers of the variety steel productions in central China,Southwest China.SG Group has began to delivery the variety steel to end customers of these areas since 2010,but the market share is relatively low.Therefore,the establishment of Wuhan branch,to seize the market in Central China is imperative for SG Group.Whether a project can be completed within a predetermined period is one of the major goals of the project management.To achieve the goals of the project,scheduling management adopt scientific method to determine the progress of the target,the preparation of the progress plan and resource supply plan,based on the coordination of the quality and the cost.Schedule,cost and quality are the three major objectives of the project,which can be controlled effectively by the scheduling management.The construction of Wuhan branch of SG Group sales company is a multi-process and also a multi-link project.The scheduling management will affect the whole cycle of the project and the starting point and the connection of every link,which related to so many problems such like the time cost,labor costs,capital occupation,business development,personnel placement and so on.The scheduling management will determine the timeliness,economy and value of the project.Based on the system of the project management knowledge,the author adopts the method of project management such like the work breaking structure chart and Gantt chart to explain the project scheduling management from the plan of the project schedule to the process of the implementation and control,which achieves better results.
