Chinese economy has been growing fast in the past 40 years and created a miracle that has never been seen in the history of human economy. As a "world factory",China's rough growth model of export trade not only brought about the rapid development of Chinese economy, but also led to an acceleration in domestic energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. The contradiction between the development of trade and carbon emissions has become increasingly prominent.China has became the world's largest carbon emitter and faces enormous emission reduction pressures both internationally and domestically.China promised voluntarily in the Paris Agreement that it will reduce unit GDP emissions by 60%-65%by 2030 compared to 2005;In the report of the 19th National Congress,President Xi further requested us to accelerate green development and establish a green low-carbon cycle economic system and implements emission reduction commitments. It means that Chinese carbon emission reduction task is urgent, and the emission reduction work must be implemented. The national emission reduction target will ultimately be based on the implementation of emission reduction in each province.Fujian Province is China's major import and export province, especially after joining the WTO in 2001,foreign trade immediately entered the high-speed development track. However,it also paid a higher energy and environmental cost.At present,a small amount of literature has been studied on the relationship between foreign trade and environmental pollution in Fujian Province. In order to explore the impact of Fujian's export trade on carbon emissions, based on inter-provincial input-output data, this paper breaks the limitations of existing literature on the study of related problems in single-region data, and uses input-output model to measure the embodied carbon emissions and trade pollution conditions of Fujian Province, and uses SDA technology to explore the driving factors of Fujian's export embodied carbon emissions.Taking into the closer relationship in inter-provincial trade, the intermediate input of Fujian.Province's exports may come from the transfer of different regions in China, and this process leads to the transfer of carbon emissions implicit in the provincial trade. This paper will extend the value creation and carbon emission of Fujian Province's exports to the domestic provincial level, and compare the flow distrubution of export embodied carbon with export value added, objectively recognize the discharge responsibility of each region, and provide scientific reference for the country to rationally allocate emission reduction tasks.According to the empirical study,it is found that Fujian Province is in trade surplus and trade embodied carbon surplus status, but it's not a "pollution safe haven" for transferring high-pollution industries abroad. The carbon emission factor effect is the most important driver in reducing the embodied carbon emissions of exports.Fujian Province has created a value-added value for other provinces while exporting a large amount of carbon emissions. From the perspective of carbon emission costs, the domestic intermediate product trade structure and production division related to Fujian's exports need to be further adjusted and upgraded.Based on the above research, this paper suggests that Fujian Province should optimize trade structure, and promote the development of low-carbon trade.Establish different carbon emission reduction policies and targets based on the comparative advantages of each province and the development needs.
