Low-carbon development is an important issue in China's economic construction in the future. As one of the first demonstration areas of ecological civilization construction.Fujian Province has received more attention from all walks of life for its green development. This article takes Fujian Province as the research object, based on low carbon theory,3E system theory and decoupling theory.First of all,it analyzes the status of economic growth, energy consumption and carbon emissions in Fujian Province.Next, based on energy intensity, carbon emission intensity, and economic growth as indicators, establishing a VAR model to study the relationship among economic growth, energy consumption, and carbon emissions in Fujian Province, then use the LMDI index decomposition method to study the effects of energy structure, energy intensity, economic development and population size on carbon emissions in various years in Fujian Province. Finally, using the Tapio decoupling model and the chain causal decomposition model to analyze the decoupling relationship between economic growth and carbon emissions in Fujian.Through the above analysis, the main conclusions are as follows:(1)Since 1985,the economic scale of Fujian Province has been continuously expanding, but the industrial structure has shown the structure of "231";The total energy consumption is increasing day by day.The coal-based energy structure has not been effectively improved but is moving towards diversification; The total amount of carbon emissions is also rising, but with the adjustment of energy structure and the use of energy-saving technologies, the overall carbon emission growth trend is slowing down.(2)The positive impact of energy intensity has a positive effect on the carbon emission intensity of Fujian Province, and the positive impact of economic growth has an inhibitory effect on the carbon emission intensity. The economic growth mechanism of carbon emission intensity and energy intensity is similar and presents a "mirror symmetry".phenomenon.If not considering carbon intensity's own contribution, the contribution of economic growth to carbon intensity is greater than the contribution of energy intensity. The contribution of energy intensity to economic growth is much higher than the contribution of changes in carbon intensity to economic growth.(3)The economic growth effect is the main reason for promoting the growth of carbon emissions. The effect of population size on carbon emissions is small but increases year by year, the energy intensity effect is the main factor that inhibits carbon emissions, while the effect of-energy structure effects fluctuates from year to year.(4)The decoupling index of economic growth and carbon emissions in Fu.jian Province has shown a downward trend since 1985.The decoupling state gradually develops from negative decoupling to weak decoupling. The decoupling relationship is mainly affected by the decoupling of the emission reduction and the decoupling of the industrial development. The changes in the energy structure have a significant effect on the decoupling of Fujian's emissions, and the dependence of Fujian's economic growth on industrial output has also led to the failure of industrial development. Finally, based on the research results, this article puts forward some suggestions on how to achieve low-carbon development in Fujian from the following five aspects:promoting industrial structure upgrading, optimizing energy structure, strengthening government supervision and guidance functions, strengthening international energy cooperation, and promoting the use of carbon dioxide resources.how to build a green economic development model in Fujian and achieve low-carbon development.
