Study On The Moisturizing Activity Of Ganoderma Lucidum Polysaccharides And Its Application

Ganoderma lucidum is a valuable traditional Chinese medicine.It has a wide range of applications,not only in medicine,health products and food,but also in beauty and skin care.Especially the polysaccharides of Ganoderma lucidum can effectively prevent water lost and provide basic protection to the skin.Previous studies have found that the structure and molecular weight of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body and Ganoderma lucidum spore powder polysaccharides differ greatly.And the active components such as polysaccharides,triterpenes and nucleosides in different varieties of Ganoderma lucidum also differ greatly.Which part or variety of Ganoderma lucidum is best used as raw material for cosmetics has not been studied.Therefore,this subject contains the content and distribution of polysaccharides in different Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body and spore powder were compared,and the correlation between polysaccharide content and moisturizing ability was studied.The selected Ganoderma lucidum material was used in cosmetics to provide scientific basis for the application of Ganoderma lucidum in cosmetics.The molecular weight and moisturizing activity of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body and spore powder polysaccharide were compared.It was found that the molecular weight of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body polysaccharide was higher than that of spore powder polysaccharide,and the moisturizing activity was also higher than that of spore powder.The high molecular weight polysaccharides of Huangshan No.1 in Anhui and Longzhi No.2 in Zhejiang were significantly higher than those of other cultivars,and the moisturizing activity was also higher.Further fractionation of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides by alcohol precipitation showed that the moisturizing ability of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides was related to its molecular weight,and the higher the molecular weight was,the better its moisture retention ability was.The extraction of polysaccharides from Huangshan No.1fruiting body and Longzhi No.2 fruiting body was investigated based on single factor and response surface analysis.The optimum extraction technology of polysaccharides from Huangshan No.1 fruiting body was obtained as follows: extraction time was 3.1h,extraction temperature was 90.5 ?,ratio of material to liquid was 1:30,and the extraction rate was1.43%.The optimum extraction process of Polysaccharide from Longzhi No.2 fruiting body was as follows: extraction time was 3.9 h,extraction temperature was 96 ?,the ratio of material to liquid was 1:26,and the actual extraction rate was 0.85%.The moisturizing ability of the extracts from Huangshan No.1 fruiting body and Longzhi No.2 fruiting body was similar to that of hyaluronic acid.At the same time,it was found that both of them had the ability of anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation.After adding Ganoderma lucidum extract into cosmetics,the skin feeling effect is better,the moisture content of skin is obviously increased,and the decrease of water content is slower.The addition amount of Ganoderma lucidum extract can reach an ideal moisturizing effect at 15%,and it is a good moisturizer.
