CR Co.is an entity covering resources import,production& processing,storage& changeover,futures trade,centralized marketing of refinery mini-products inside system,product R&D and technical service with annual 13,500 kiloton in processing capacity,20,000 kiloton in changeover capacity and 5,500 kiloton in storage capacity.Its main businesses are crude oil,asphalt and fuel oil.However,due to low oil prices and depressed economic environment in recent years,CR has been impacted greatly in business and slumped in earning level.Under such circumstance that the market environment of crude oil and asphalt isn’t upward in short term and the competition is intensifying continuously,it is rather important to develop bunker fuel oil in order to improve the competitive ability of CR’s businesses and keep CR ranking top in its sector.To prepare development strategies of bulker fuel oil and take effort to develop business system of the same may provide CR important academic basis and pragmatic significances regarding how to keep advantageous and improve market competitive force under current intense market competition.In this paper,the author takes CR’s competitive strategies of bulker fuel oil as the subject to research and discuss,adopts documentary research,on-the-spot interview,case research,statistics analysis to sort out and understand various conditions that CR is facing to,analyzes the current situation and prospect of bulker fuel oil sector and obtain direct information for analysis and research by visiting CR as well as domestic companies running bulker fuel oil.On such basis,the author researches CR’s competitive strategies issues deeply and raised advices about the implementation of CR’s competitive strategies of bulker oil business by analyzing the internal/externalenvironment of CR and applying theories as well as methods relating to strategic management.By analysis on internal/external environment as well as logistics status of CR,prediction on future growth of oil supply and the application of SWOT strategic assembly analysis means,CR logistics development strategy-Baihai Sea Rim Service Center shall be built.To prepare this strategy is imminent to CR,for it is indispensible for CR to keep competitive advantageous in future and a new route for CR to maintain sustainable development.The research herein is very significant for CR to make more scientific& reasonable competitive strategies,improve corporate competitive force,make the company attain competitive advantages from the increasingly intense market competition.Furthermore,it will also provide references and lessons to other enterprises in peer.
