The China Central Asian gas pipeline project has great economic and international impact on China and Kazakhstan. In this paper, the design and calculation of the Kazakhstan section of Central Asia natural gas pipeline are carried out,the optimal compressor station scheme is determined, and the different gas transmission conditions are simulaed by using TGNET,which can provide guidance for the design and operation management of natural gas pipeline in Central Asia.According to the task design of 20 billion cubic meters per year and 3 kinds of design pressure and pipe diameter,9 overall process alternatives are determined by arrangement and combination. The hydraulic and thermal calculations are carried out by MATLAB programming, the preliminary compressor station scheme is determined, and the optimal end length of the pipeline is determined.Considering the error of the actual end and the optimal end section, the position deviation of the compressor station is determined, which can make the error of the compressor station less than 5%,so that we can get the plan of the compressor station.By using the present value method of total cost, the economic comparison is carried out in the alternative 9 scheme, and the scheme 6(design pressure lOMPa,pipe diameter 1219mm)is the final compressor station scheme,5 compressor stations are set up all over the line, and the steady-state simulation is carried out by TGNET,which verifies the accuracy and rationality of the MATLAB programming results. And the start-up plan of compressor and heater at different stations is studied. The layout of each block location of the first gas transmission station was designed, and the flow chart of the station was designed.
