The chemical structure of nylon fiber is similar to that of natural protein fiber.It can be printed with acid dyes,which have rich colors and high affinit y for nylon fabric.At present,there are few reports on acid dye transfer printi ng of nylon fabric,in order to improve the performance of nylon printed fabri c,problems such the K/S value,levelness and fastness are solved to a certain extent,dry-heat transfer printing of nylon fabric was carried out with acid dyes.On the basis of no treatment of nylon fabric,keep the best performance of n ylon fabric to find out a low consumption and environmental protection modifi ed paste ratio and the best process conditions through experiments.It is expect ed to produce nylon fabric printing products with high color yield and high co lor fastness,and provide support and help for further study of acid dyes.Firstly,dry-heat transfer printing of nylon fabric was carried out with acid dyes.The influences of the type and content of thickeners,the content of high-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose(H-HPC),the type and content of acid age nts,the content of moisture absorbent and other additives in the modified subs trate on the K/S value and fixation rate of the nylon fabric were discussed.Th e results show that the adhesion between transfer paper and fabric prepared by H-HPC has a great influence on apparent color.And the K/S value and fixatio n rate of the transfer printed nylon fabric are high when the printing paste con tains 3%H-HPC,4.5%tamarind powder,4%ammonium tartrate,5%urea,2%dicyandiamide and 1%nano silica,which has good outline clarity and hand f eel.And the washing and rubbing fastness of the printed nylon fabrics can reac h to Grade 4.Secondly,the optimized printing paste was used to explore the best craft.The optimized printing process conditions are as follows:the storage time of p aste is 9h,the storage time of transfer paper is 12h,thecoating thickness is 0.5mm,hot pressing temperature is 95?,hot pressing pressure is 3MPa,roller s peed is 11r/min,steaming temperature is 100?,steaming time is 20min,washi ng temperature is 40?,washing time is 2min.Under these conditions,the K/S value and fixation rate of nylon printed fabric are high,the washing and ru bbing fastness of the printed nylon fabrics can reach to Grade 4,and the fabri c has good pattern clarity and hand feel.At last,the dry-heat transfer printing and screen printing of nylon fabric are compared and analyzed.Through the comparative analysis of the K/S value,color characteristic value,weight rate,moisture permeability,hand feeling,whiteness,color fastness and mechanical properties of the two printing methods,it is expected that the applicability and characteristics of the two printing methods can be reflected from the performance,providing reference for the selection of printing methods of different fabrics and dyes.The results show that the apparent color of transfer printing nylon is higher than that of screen printing nylon,the permeability is lower than that of screen printing,and transfer printing can make the fabric have higher brightness,and the levelness of screen printing is better than that of transfer printing.After printing,the mechanical properties,whiteness and moisture permeability of the fabric do not change to a large extent,which is within the acceptable range.The hand feel of transfer printing nylon is better than that of screen printing nylon,and the color fastness of screen printing nylon is slightly better than that of transfer printing nylon,but the pattern of transfer printing nylon has higher fineness,the color of printed products is rich,and the printing effect is better intuitively.
