Research On The Impact Of Construction Worker Fatigue On Unsafe Behavior

As a labor-intensive industry,the conslruction industry is prone to fatigue and unsafe behavior in the complex operating environment for a long time,and the incidence of safety accidents is relatively high.Statistics show that 80%of safety accidents in construction are caused by unsafe behavior of construction workers.How to reduce the unsafe behavior of workers during the construction process and the occurrence of safety accidents are the practical problems to be solved urgently in the safety management of construction.According to the domestic and foreign relevant literature,combined with the characteristics of the construction industry and the construction site,the construction worker fatigue is divided into three dimensions:physical fatigue,mental fatigue and psychological fatigue,and safety awareness and team safety are selected from the perspective of individual construction workers and the environment Atmosphere is used as an intermediary variable to propose hypotheses and construct a theoretical model of the impact of construction worker fatigue on unsafe behavior.design an initial fatigue scale for construction workers on the basis of existing mature fatigue scales,and conduct preliminary surveys on the initial scale,According to the reliability of the scale and the results of exploratory factor analysis,the final scale is determined alter removing the bad items,and the final questionnaire is obtained;the first-line construction workers of 6 projects such as Sanfuwan in Xi'an are the survey objects,and 388 Questionnaires,and finally 344 valid questionnaires were obtained.The collected data was analyzed using SPSS22.0 for reliability analysis and Mplus8.3 for confirmatory fuctor analysis.The model was tested for direct effects,single intermediary effects,and multiple intermdiaries.Effect test.The results of the study show that the three dimensions of construction worker fatigue have a mutual influence relationship,of which physical fatigue is most closely related to mental fatigue;the three dimensions of construction worker fatigue have a direct positively significant impact on unsafe behavior,of which Physical fatigue has the greatest impact,followed by psychological fatigue;the mediating effect of the two mediating variables of safety awareness and team safety atmosphere is significant,indicating that construction worker fatigue has an indirect effect on unsafe behavior through safety awareness and team safety atmosphere,among which team safety atmosphere the impact of security awareness is greater.Finally,according to the calculation results of the structural equation model of unsafe behavior of construction workers,relevant countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to reduce the occurrence of unsafe behavior of construction workers on the construction site.
