Design And Application Of Tenon-and-mortise Structure In Wooden Children's Educational Toys

The mortise and tenon structure is an important cultural heritage in China,with sufficient educational properties,but its development is currently lagging,and it is concentrated in the field of architecture and furniture.The extensional application research of the mortise and tenon is imminent.Nowadays,China vigorously promotes cultural strategy,people's consumption upgrades,and parents pay close attention to children's intellectual education,but China lacks educational toys with Chinese characteristics and most of them lack innovativeness.Therefore,exploring the application of the mortise and tenon structure in wooden children's educational toys can not only play a role in promoting Chinese traditional culture from the doll,but also enhance the innovation of domestic educational toys.This subject explores innovative research on preschool children's educational wood toys in combination with mortise and tenon structure.Through literature research,the mortise and tenon structure is classified and its characteristics are summarized.The combination of online and offline methods is used to investigate the application of mortise and tenon structure in the field of toys and modern design,and summarize its application points in children's educational toys.Observation was used to observe behavioral characteristics and toy preferences of preschool children.Interview with parents and kindergarten teachers,send out questionnaires to parents,understand parents and teachers' demands for children's intellectual development,summarize the user needs of this design,and determine design strategies.Finally,designing practice based on user needs and strategies.This topic extracts suitable mortise and tenon structure based on the characteristics of preschool children.In addition,the design of toys in a modular,scene-based,educational and gamified manner improves children's intelligence in social,cultural cognition,spatial thinking and other aspects,and enhances the expanded application of mortise and tenon structure in the field of educational toys.
