The toy is the important tool of preschool children. Educational toys can stimulate theimagination and creativity of preschool children. With the development of the era, the toyswhich focus on interactive, technology and humanity become more and more popular inchildren and parents. This paper start from the research and design of educational toys aimedat the design concept of interactive and focuses on preschool children’s physical,psychological, cognitive and behavioral characteristics, the design and research are workingon the educational toys.First of all,it analyzes and elaborates the consumer market prospects of the children’stoys, modern family structure and the status of the study. Through overview and research onthe Children’s educational toys, it pointed out the function and the future developmentdirection of children’s educational toys. Through the sketch and analysis on the meanings,system, methods and steps of the interaction design concept, it summed up the application anddevelopment in all fields of interaction design concept. And it indicates the importance ofinteraction design concept in the design of pre-school children educational toys.Secondly, this paper researches and analyzes the user group and purchasing group of theinteractive children’s educational toys. Based on literature and practical research, throughwhich it subdivide and define the user group—preschool children and determine the age ofthese children are3-7years old which we subdivide the preschool into three stage: early stageof preschool, middle stage of preschool and later stage of preschool. Based on these threestages, research and analysis of their physical, psychological, cognitive and behavioral aspectsof characteristics unfold. Furthermore, this paper make the actual research on the purchasegroup—parents. Through the analysis of the survey results, it obtained that the interactiveeducational toys have broad market prospects and development space, and designrequirements of the interactive preschool children educational toys becomes clearly.Finally, this paper makes deeply research on the interaction design of educational toysfor children of pre-school. According to the interactive systems of the interaction design,summed up the interactive systems of the preschool children educational toys. And it analyzesthe respective elements. According to the characteristics of preschool children’s socialbehavior classify preschool children and educational toys interactive form. Through the in-depth study of the preschool children’s physical, psychological and cognitivecharacteristics summarized the interaction that based on sensory interaction, behaviorinteraction and emotional interaction. Through the summarized of the interaction designprinciples, obtain the design principles and methods of educational toys that fit for preschoolchildren; build a preschool children’s educational toys interactive design process. And basedon this research, design in practice continued in the domain of English learning machine.
