Research On Risk Management Of The Master Data Project Construction Of H Company

Recently,H company has established the enterprise informatization strategy,which promoted the rapid development of informatization construction.With the rapid development and construction of information projects,the data interactions and sharing among information systems becomes more and more frequent and important.Therefore,it is foundational to establish the Master Data Management(MDM)system to ensure the uniqueness of master data in all information systems during project construction,data interaction and big data analysis.The MDM construction consists of various aspects of work,such as master data identification,coding system establishment,life cycle management,sharing and synchronization strategy,initialization,etc.It also involves many business systems and has large management risks.Therefore,it is a key issue in informatization to implement risk management.This thesis focuses on the risk management of MDM system in H company,which is of great significance.Based on the current statuses of risk management of projects,this thesis proposes the basic principles and methods of risk management of MDM system in H company.Firstly,it shows the risk factors of MDM system during requirement analysis,design,development,testing,and deployment,by studying on the history literature of MDM project.Secondly,it identifies,classifies and summarizes the risks in each stage(such as requirement risk,human and capital risk,technical risk,management risk and product risk).Thirdly,it analyzes the probability and influence of risks qualitatively and quantitatively(mainly by expert experience,risk value,etc.,and Boehm theory),and comprehensively evaluate each risk.Fourthly,it proposes different and feasible countermeasures according to the risk assessment results.Finally,it describes the effects of risk management,and it concludes that it is necessary and effective to conduct risk management for the MDM project.Generally,this thesis presents the main principles and methods of risk management in MDM system of H company,on the basis of the current researches of risk management and application of MDM system in H company.The proposed methods ensure the MDM project completed on schedule.It implements master data identification,coding system establishment,life cyclemanagement,sharing and synchronization among all business systems,which guarantees the system integration,data analysis,decision-supporting,and so on.
