Development Of SCADA Training System For Long Distance Pipeline

With the rapid development of modern education,more and more intelligent technologies are applied to teaching and experiments.In practical oil and gas industry,SCADA system is the strong guarantee for long distance pipeline safety work,and is the foundation of oil and gas storage and transportation engineering automation.However,due to the great complexities in working conditions,operational procedures and natural environment,students and trainees face great challenges in learning and mastering SCADA system.Therefore,it is imperative to develop a set of safe,miniature,complete and operable experimental equipment for all to learn.Under this background,relying on the national virtual simulation teaching center of oil and gas storage and transportation major of China university of petroleum(Beijing),a set of SCADA training system for long-distance pipeline was developed.The training system consists of experimental equipment,software program and teaching philosophy.The experimental device is a full-scale simulation design of long-distance pipeline,including the first station,three intermediate stations and the last station.It is equipped with manual valve,electric valve,electric pump and pressure sensor.It has a perfect SCADA system,which can achieve local and remote switching.The software programs mainly include PLC control program,kingview upper computer program and expert scoring system,in which the expert rating system is developed based on the general program framework of China university of petroleum(Beijing),using Java,Groovy,My SQL and other languages.The teaching philosophy is made up of three parts,results-oriented,student-centered OBE teaching philosophy,model teaching concept based on practicability,and intelligent classroom concept based on information technology.By means of one-way anova and regression analysis of experimental data,the stability,rationality and scientificity of the experimental device were verified.And through the actual training,an excellent teaching case was made.
