Lithocarpus litseifolius(Hance)Chun(Fagaceae family),alias Sweet Tea,which is an everygreen tree.In China,L.litseifolius is extensively distributed in Jiangxi,Guangxi,Hunan provinces.Its leaves are used as a medicinal and healthy drink material.The sweeteners has the characteristics of high sweetness,low energy and non-toxicity,so it has three kinds of functions as tea,sugar and medicine do.L.litseifolius contains a diversity of flavonoids with bioactivities such as hypoglycemic,hypolipidemic and antimicrobia.Hence,content determination of flavonoids could be used as an important basis for quality control of L.litseifolius.Study on the flavonoids of L.litseifolius can further clarify the substance basis of its efficacy,which lay the foundation for its further development and utilization.In this experiment,the constituents were isolated and purified from the leaves of L.litseifolius,the structures of the isolated compounds were identified by spectroscopic data.Thirteen compounds were identified as: phloridzin(1),trilobatin(2),3-hydroxy phloridzin(3),5,7,3',5'-tetrahydroxy-4'-methoxyflavanone(4),luteolin(5),cirsilineol(6),5,7-dihydroxy-3',4'-dimethoxyflavone(7),5-hydroxy-7,4'-dimethoxyflavone(8),corymbosin(9),salvigenin(10),5-hydroxy-6,7,3',4'-tetramethoxyflavone(11),afzelin(12),tiliroside(13).Among them,4,6and 11 were isolated from the plant for the first time.In order to study the change of the contents of phloridzin and trilobatinat in the leaves of L.litseifolius at different harvesting times and different places,UPLC method was used to determine the contents of two main compounds,which provided a experimental basis for the further development and utilization of L.litseifolius.
