Mine ventilation is a system that provide fresh air in an underground mine.The main purpose of a mine ventilation system is to provide enough air in the mines branch,diluting and removing notorious gases and dusts and regulates temperature for mine workers by providing a good and safe working environment.In underground mining,safety of the personnel is the key of a good production and enough fresh air should be provided at the production areas where mine personnel are located.The objective of this study is to study the effect of gas burst on a mine ventilations system by providing different solutions to improve the ventilation network.One of the underground perils with greater potential for large loss of life is gas burst.A study has been carried out in order to get a better understanding of gas burst behavior in unpredicted incidents.A real mine ventilation system has been investigated and a near-optimum solutions were found.First,a case study of a mine ventilation system optimization after a gas burst in the system problem was studied and an algorithm to find the shortest path was created under ventilation constraints.Second,a hardy cross method was applied to the same network for balancing and to find the right air flow that can be used in the system and finding the proper parameters of device control.And finally,application of Ventsim simulation software to check for the effectiveness and analyzation of our algorithm and method so that we can improve and optimize the airflow in the mine when there is gas burst.Coal mine ventilation system is a complex network system,the paper based on a review of the existing related research in-depth,on the basic knowledge of mine ventilation system,the reasons of gas outburst,the influence of gas outburst in the system,the mine ventilation system used in the existing technology,and other gas prevention and control in the underground mining is analyzed.In addition,combining with Ventsim,a ventilation system simulation software,the optimization of ventilation system after coal mine gas outburst is simulated,which has important theoretical and practical significance for coal mine safety production.The thesis has 12 figure,11 tables and 81 references.
