Transverse fold defect refers to a strip-shaped crease with obvious concave-convex feeling in a certain part of the steel strip during uncoiling of the steel coil,which is generally perpendicular to the rolling direction.In serious cases,it even penetrates the entire width of the steel plate,affecting the surface quality of the steel plate during pickling.According to the statistics of relevant documents,it is a common phenomenon that the steel coil has transverse fold defects on its surface after uncoiling.In order to solve this problem,many iron and steel enterprises at home and abroad have carried out a lot of research and attempts,including controlling the shape of incoming materials,avoiding adhesion of incoming materials,controlling the temperature of incoming materials,changing the chemical composition,etc.,which to some extent alleviate the problem of transverse fold defects when uncoiling steel plates.For low carbon steel,the strip steel will undergo elastic-plastic deformation during uncoiling,and the main reason for the transverse fold defect is the stress difference at the upper and lower yield points.Based on this,the pickling unit of Baotou Steel's rare earth steel plate plant has set up a deep bending roller device to remove the scale on the surface of the strip steel and eliminate the transverse bending defects.The working principle is that when the strip steel is uncoiled,the hydraulic cylinder pushes the deep bending roller to move downwards and press on the strip steel to cause the strip steel to generate appropriate reverse bending deformation,thus achieving the purpose of eliminating the transverse bending defect generated during uncoiling.However,when the original deep bending roll structure uncoils SPHC with a thickness of 1.8 ~ 6 mm,the effect of eliminating transverse bending defects is not good.At present,the traditional mechanical method,leveling,is generally adopted to eliminate the surface transverse fold defects in China,but this method increases the process cost and has limited ability to eliminate the transverse fold defects.In this paper,under the condition of not changing the actual working conditions and not increasing the process,based on the theory of elastic-plastic bending deformation and finite element analysis,ANSYS Workbench16.0 is taken as the analysis platform,and the deep bending roller device before and after the improvement of the uncoiler of the 2030 mm cold rolling pickling line of Baotou steel is taken as the subject source,and the advantages of multi-roller deep bending roller in eliminating the transverse bending defects of the products of the above specifications are compared and analyzed.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Aiming at the deformation of the deep bending roll under the influence of uncoiling tension in the uncoiling process,a finite element model is established by using ANSYS Workbench.(2)Static analysis of single-roll deep bending roll model can intuitively obtain deformation nephogram and stress distribution diagram of deep bending roll,and the results are consistent with actual working conditions.(3)Modal analysis is carried out on the single-roll deep bending roll model.From the point of view of dynamic performance,the first six natural frequencies,vibration modes and relative displacement distributions of the deep bending roll are obtained.(4)ANSYS Workbench is used to establish a multi-roll deep bending roll finite element model,and the static analysis is carried out according to the same analysis method to obtain deformation nephogram and stress distribution diagram.The first six natural frequencies,vibration modes and relative displacement distributions are obtained through modal analysis.Through statics analysis and modal analysis of two kinds of deep bending rolls with different structures,the results show that after adding two sets of support rolls,the deformation of work roll body is significantly reduced when uncoiling compared with single-roll deep bending rolls.In addition,the natural frequency range of the multi-roll deep bending roll is 390.47 Hz to 1041.4 Hz,which is significantly higher than that of the single-roll deep bending roll,i.e.the rigidity of the multi-roll deep bending roll is significantly higher than that of the single-roll deep bending roll,thus effectively avoiding the occurrence of resonance phenomenon and basically meeting the production requirements.The multi-roll deep bending roll has stable operation on the production site,high working efficiency,effectively avoids the generation of transverse bending defects,and improves the product quality.The analysis thought of this paper has certain reference significance and reference value for the design and manufacture of deep bending rolls,and has a good promotion prospect.
