The Urban Water Supply Safety Assessment Of Zhengzhou City Based On AHP And Matter-element Analysis Method

The urban water supply security is one of the most core questions of urban public security,the basis for survival of urban residents and the prerequisite to assure social stablility and healthy development.However,the rapid development of city has a profound effect on water supply security.It is of great significance to evaluate the current security level of water supply,to predict the trend of it in the future,and to stipulate scientific and practical measures for urban water supply security.The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and the matter-element analysis are adopted to evaluate water supply safety quantificationally.It adoptes the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each index,then uses the matter-element analysis method to evaluate the safety of water supply of Zhengzhou city.primarily focusing on the water quantity evaluation.Water security evaluation system of Zhengzhou is constructed with 3 vertical ladders and 3 lateral subsystems.According to the experience,it has determined the basic safety grade of each index.and has made a comprehensive evaluation on water supply security of Zhengzhou from 2005 to 2011,and proposes some appropriate measures for indicators at unsafe levels.It takes Zhengzhou as an example to make evaluation on water supply safety grade.The results show that,generally speaking,from 2005 to 2011,water supply security level of Zhengzhou increases gradually from relative unsafety to safety.And it forecasts water supply security grade in 2015 and 2020 based on the previous water supply security level.Population density,per capita water resources,the leakage rate,recycled water utilization rate and water supply factory burden rate are at low security level in 18 indicators selected;per capita GDP,the ratio of eco-environmental water consumption,the residents’ living water quota,the urban sewage treatment rate,capability of emergent supply are rising.Water penetration,industrial water recycling,capability of emergent supply are at a higher level.After South-to-North water division is complished,the safety of water supply of Zhengzhou city would be greatly inproved.some reasonable measures for various issues on water supply security that currently exist in Zhengzhou are put forward.It provides reference for the assurance of water supply security of Zhengzhou.
