Water supply system is the life line of a city, and the inevitable infrastructure ensuring people's life and social advancement. For a water supply enterprise, informationization and the automation is an inevitable trend. In the process of scientific water supply, the decision system of the schedule must rely on the state assessment system in selecting a scheme. A state assessment system can assess the service level of the water supply system, and can provide such decision system scientific bases for selecting schemes. The schedule systems and the assessment systems as well as their problems have been discussed in this paper, on the bases of relevant papers and books. Meanwhile, a scientific schedule system should consists of such systems as a schedule decision system, a state assessment system, a water demand forecasting system, hydraulic simulating system, and a case system. A scheme should be assessed synthesizely in hydraulics, water quality and operation cost through the fuzzy assessment process and the analytic hierarchy process. The processes of multi-objective state assessment are as follows: First, select such assessment index as node pressure, fluctuation of node pressure, velocity in pipe, and water age at node and operation cost of water supply systems and fix the standard comment sets and index scale. Second, draw the standard penalty curve, and then convert the index's parameters to a standard value, and work out the subjection degree. Third, distribute weight coefficients to different assessment index, and adopt a proper arithmetic operator for junior assessment and senior assessment.Because of the unsuccessful application of the scientific schedule system, the state assessment system has merely been certified through a project in this paper. And at the end of this paper, a simple discussion and suggestion on further work were presented.
