The continuous development of today's construction put forward higher processing accuracy on steel bar straightening process,especially for big diameter.Rotating hub is a straightening machine straightening curved steel bar by circumferential rotation.It's widely used in steel bar straightening processing because of it's higher processing effect.The theory related on rotating hub straightening now is not accurate enough.In actual straightening,the adjustment amount of straightening molds and processing speed have no corresponding theoretical guidance.In order to improve the processing quality of rotating hub straightening machine,it is necessary to study key straightening parameters.As the increase of processing steel bar diameters,reinforced mechanical traction ability also need to be improved.Bigger diameter steel bar processing need higher traction power,the research on draw-gear is need.The research based on GT5/12steel bar straightening machine made by Langfang CABR Construction Machinery Technology Co.,Ltd..The test use orthogonal experiment method to research the relation between steel bar straightness and straightening mold spacing and press amount.Through regression analysis obtained a corresponding regression equation.Measured wear zone length on cast iron straightening mold,verify the related theory of contact region length and provide information for straightening mold design.Based on the theory of pneumatic compression type traction mechanism,put forward several improvement measures to improve the traction capability.This paper comes to the following conclusions:(1)Variance analysis on test results show the degree of the straightness change by different parameters,we get a appropriate adjust order of straightening mold on steel bar straightening processing.Steel bar straightness can be described by quadratic polynomial of straightening mold spacing and press amount.(2)A strong interaction between straightening mold spacing and processing speed has been detected When adjacent straightening mold have same spacing,straightness more sensitive to the change of processing speed.(3)The longest contact area is on the middle straightening mold,the maximum length of 16.2 mm.(4)Use a larger diameter cylinder,increase arm length of the compaction arm,reduce the groove angle of V groove traction wheel,offset passive traction wheel can improve traction ability of pneumatic pressure type traction institutions.
