In recent years,Building Information Modelling is warmly received by domestic construction industry. The academic, construction and government departments study and apply it to construction project practice from different levels. However,BIM technology brings great benefits, but also makes construction project facing more uncertainties, which brings some disadvantages to project management. Therefore,in order to better promote the promotion and development of BIM technology,we must fully grasp the various risk factors of BIM application, and make a comprehensive evaluation of risk. This paper analyzes the latest research results at home and abroad.First of all, through literature research and questionnaire survey method to identify risk factors, including the formation of technical risk, management risk, policy risk, economic risk and market risk. The BIM application risk evaluation index system is established, which includes five kinds of first level risk evaluation index and 23 two level risk evaluation indexes.Secondly,Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to determine the weight of risk evaluation index. The risk evaluation model is established by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the risk. Finally,A stadium project as a case study, analysis of the specific application of BIM technology in this project, with the establishment of comprehensive evaluation of project risk model of expert survey data to validate the applicability of this model.the paper puts forward some key countermeasures from BIM standards, organization and management, contract model and BIM professional training. The research results of this paper enrich the theory of BIM and risk management, which have certain theoretical guidance and practical value for the application and development of BIM technology in the future.
